My Mouth is Lonely (2025)
Multi-media projection on silk dress and wall Seduction in itself is a spectacle. This multi-media projection on silk dress and wall frames the lingerie as a site of representation of the body’s visible subjection to the male gaze and its invisible emancipation in actualizing women’s sexuality. The work engages with seduction as a paradoxical experience for women, tethering between objectifying the female body and reclaiming her sexual agency. This is a plate for my MFA class which contemplates the tensions of visibility, invisibility, and spectacle. It's also my first new media work where video, sound, projection infiltrate space to create a kind of "seductive immateriality."
